We are excited you are interested in joining us for our Meeting the Moment retreat, happening May 13-14 at Camp Caraway in Sophia, N.C. just outside of Asheboro.

The Meeting the Moment Retreat is designed for anyone in the food system who is navigating the increasing needs, shrinking resources, and increasingly harmful public discourse around people experiencing hunger. The goals of the retreat are to:

• Reflect on the challenges of the last year, both the measurable challenges and emotional toll
• Explore where your work fits along the spectrum of charity-based approaches to rights-based solutions
• Build practical tools for shifting narratives, centering dignity in food access, and practicing bystander intervention

Pricing + Logistics:

Each room includes two double beds and a private, full bathroom. Each registrant will have their own room, unless otherwise requested.

The cost of this retreat is $50. You will be directed to pay at the end of this form. Full financial aid is available in the form of a reimbursement. Please indicate where directed if you would like to be considered for a reimbursement and a staff member will follow up with you.
