Watch teh recording as Come to the Table and the Closing the Hunger Gap leadership team come together for a presentation about the Be, Build, Block strategies. After a brief overview on theory of change, developed over 10 years of shared analysis, and the strategies, we discuss how food pantries and banks are creating new policies, procedures, and/or resources. Together, we practice resource sharing by offering practical tactics that were successful or lessons learned. Lastly (and not recorded), small groups will develop narratives that help reframe how we talk about hunger/food insecurity in a way that addresses the root causes and enables the food justice community to organize around.
