The Southeast Cohort Project Manager is a full-time RAFI role leading a regional cohort of Direct Service Providers who help Southeastern farmers navigate financial distress. Reporting to the DBAN Project Manager, duties include supervising DSPs, coordinating trainings, managing operations, and planning events.

RAFI is hiring an FSA Loans Technical Assistance Contractor to support farmers in the Southeast U.S. with Farm Service Agency loan programs. This remote six to 12-month contract will provide one-on-one help with farm numbers, loan applications, farm financials, loan restructuring, and borrower responsibilities. The contractor will also track cases, coordinate with RAFI staff and partners, and support farmer outreach and education.

We seek a resourceful self-starter who can flexibly handle multiple projects simultaneously. Strong candidates for this position will have a knowledge of or interest in sustainable agriculture and food systems and be enthusiastic about RAFI's mission.

The Land Access Baseline Study Writers will contribute to the research and writing of a geographically-focused baseline study of land and market access issues in the U.S. Virgin Islands. 

The Senior Case Manager will support the successful delivery of the Land Access project. The focus of this role will be on program planning and coordination, and providing technical assistance to project beneficiaries in the southeastern US. 

The Land Access Baseline Study Writers will contribute to the research and writing of a geographically-focused baseline study of land and market access issues in the continental US southeast, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. 

The 2024 FOCN mini-conference intern will assist with planning an October mini-conference for members of the Farmers of Color Network in eastern North Carolina.
