SFJFS Sessions 2-4 Food Justice Insights

Check out some highlights from sessions 2-4 of Come to the Table’s Fall 2023 School for Food Justice, Faith, and Storytelling (SFJFS). The second session featured Derrick Weston, writer, filmmaker, podcaster, speaker, and educator, who led a discussion on the root causes of food insecurity. The third session featured N.C. State Representative and RAFI’s Farmers of Color Network Director, Ray Jeffers, and Howard Allen of Faithful Farms who spoke about farmers of color in the U.S. Lastly, the fourth session featured Aaron Johnson, RAFI’s Program Manager for the Challenging Corporate Power Program as he broke down corporate consolidation in our food systems.

While this cohort of SFJFS is not open for new members, we thought it would be helpful to share insights from a variety of sessions with our network through clips from each session. Watch the video below to learn more!
