Farm Aid 2014 will feature Willie Nelson & Family, Neil Young, John Mellencamp, Dave Matthews & Tim Reynolds, Jack White and many more artists. Get the full lineup on Farm Aid’s website here. Farm Aid will be a full day of amazing music, homegrown food, hands-on activities in Farm Aid’s HOMEGROWN Village and, of course, a celebration of family farmers.

RAFI and Farm Aid have been close partners since the first Farm Aid concert 29 years ago. Farm Aid refers farmers in crisis who call their hotline to RAFI’s Farm Advocacy program for expert financial counseling. RAFI and Farm Aid have partnered over many years to train farmers and farm advisers on access to credit, disaster assistance programs for farmers and a wide range of important agricultural issues across the country and especially the southern US. We have also worked together to seek the reform of laws and regulations to support family farmers and just and sustainable food.

“Farm Aid is thrilled to bring our annual concert to North Carolina for the first time,” said Farm Aid Executive Director Carolyn Mugar. “We are proud and honored to work with longtime, dedicated partners, like RAFI, who work day in and day out for family farmers. RAFI’s work is shaping the national conversation about agriculture, strengthening family farmers in North Carolina and across the country.”

Since 1985, Farm Aid concerts have brought together the greatest artists in American music. Of all the concerts for causes that began in the mid-80s, Farm Aid remains the only one that has the unique and unwavering commitment of its original founders. Farm Aid continues to host an annual concert that raises funds to support Farm Aid’s work to keep family farmers on the land and inspire people to choose food produced by family farmers.
