Farm Aid COVID-19 Farmer Resilience Initiative Awards

Purpose: $500 mini-grants are available to lessen the immediate financial needs of farmers and their households. This means funds could cover expenses like food, medical bills, utility bills, etc. The funds are NOT meant to cover farm production expenses.

At this time the mini-grants are only available to farmers in Virginia (select counties), South Carolina, Florida, and the US Virgin Islands.

COVID-19 Emergency Relief Mini-Grants

Food Relief Programming Funding for Faith Communities and Community Organizations

Purpose: Technical assistance funds to faith communities and community organizations throughout North Carolina that are engaging in emergency hunger relief efforts during the coronavirus crisis. Mini-grants are available up to $1,000 and on a first-come-first-served basis to qualifying projects.

Farmers of Color Network Infrastructure Fund

Purpose: Provides support to farmers for new and innovative agricultural projects & ideas that will increase farm viability, support community food sovereignty efforts, preserve traditional & cultural farming practices, as well as assist local food economies. Individual farmers may apply for a maximum of $5,000 and collaborative groups can apply for a maximum of $7,000.
