Carmen Umpierre’s Project is an agroecological project dedicated to the planting of fruits, herbs, and vegetables. The focus is aimed at teaching agriculture to socially disadvantaged families creating a kitchen for processing their crops and being able to be a link to other families and contribute to workshops on the conservation of fresh food from the farm. Carmen wants to use their funds to establish a commercial kitchen within their facilities, hoping to cater for events that they hold, obtaining greater profits and sales to grow with.
