Meet Ray Jeffers, RAFI-USA’s newest team member. Ray is a former RAFI-USA grant recipient and runs BR Jeffers Farm in Roxboro, NC in Person County. Ray’s role at RAFI-USA will be supporting the creation of alternative local food markets for food producers and farmers of color.
This month’s featured staff member is Kelli Dale. Kelli shares about how she got her start in agriculture (likely a familiar story of a nine-year-old driving tractors), RAFI-USA’s work in helping farmers develop organic regionally adapted commodity seeds, and the pollinators and pollinators habitat project.
