James Robinson, RAFI’s Research and Policy Associate, was recently interviewed by Frank Aragona, the host and producer of the Agroinnovations Podcast. They discussed how price supports through acreage quotas have slowly been phased out in the Southeastern United States, leading to the ongoing transition from tobacco to diversified agriculture. The podcast also includes a discussion of RAFI’s efforts to assist farmers on the brink of bankruptcy.
