Bahiyyah Parks

EcoBlossoms Farm, Upper Marlboro, MD

Project Snapshot:
EcoBlossoms Farm is working with neighboring farms to create a deer fence around the perimeter of their farms. The farms are surrounded by forest with intense deer pressure, which negatively impacts vegetable and flower farming when deer break through the netting currently in place. The new fence will allow farmers to expand their growing space and increase their production.

Bio: Bahiyyah Parks is the owner of EcoBlossoms Farm in Prince Georges County, Maryland. The farm offers locally grown flowers, berries and perennial plants. Bahiyyah is a certified permaculture designer and uses sustainable, ecologically friendly practices to build rich soil and create a balanced ecosystem on the farm.
