Second Round of Climate Grants Awarded to BIPOC Organizations

The Grassroots Engagement Lead’s primary focus will be on relationship-building for policy work, with both partner organizations and farmers/stakeholders. They will be the staff lead for the Climate & Equity Policy Project, coordinating trainings, meetings, and communications with the Project grantee cohort and coordinating a grants review and awards process in the case of additional funds becoming available.

The cohort features members from 19 states across the country who work at the intersection of food justice and faith, at churches, non-profits, farms, and a host of other great organizations.

This position manages federal grants ensuring compliance with federal budget and grant requirements, coordinating with external subaward partners, tracking proper collection of data, managing federal reimbursement requests, and assessing grant deliverables progress.
