How to write a grant proposal workshop 2009

“How-to-apply” Workshops in the Central Region


The purpose of the workshops is to help potential applicants to understand the application guidelines and process.  The workshops also give farmers some face time to get specific questions about their projects answered.  Participants in the workshops come away better informed about the project.
The workshops utilize past TCRP projects as examples of income diversification strategies.   In addition to talking about the cost-share program, RAFI promotes other resources for farmers, including our financial counseling and publications, such as The Farmers’ Guide to Agricultural Credit

  2. 8/11- Scotland County Workshop, 1pm at Scotland County Cooperative Extension Office

  3. 8/24- Robeson County Workshop, 6:30pm at the Robeson County Extension Office.

  4. 8/25- Moore County Workshop, 10am at the Moore County Extension Office.

  5. 8/26- Montgomery County Workshop, 6:30pm at the Montgomery County Extension Office.

  6. 9/1- Sampson County Workshop, 6pm at the Sampson County Extension Office.

  7. 9/3- Vance County Workshop, 6:30pm, Old Court House Building 122 Young Street, Henderson, NC

  8. 9/8- Edgecombe County Workshop, 7pm, Edgecombe County Extension Office.

  9. 9/10- Wilson County Workshop, 6:30 pm at Wilson County Extension Office.

  10. 10/13- Chatham County Workshop, 7:00 pm, at Dan Pollitt Center, 640 Elementary School Rd, Pittsboro, 27312.
